I haven't been online in awhile. Why? Because of an enormous project at work that the boss checks on constantly and my laptop 'sploded. Well, freaked out, smelled funny, and stopped working anyway. It will take me a bit to catch up. Hope you are all having a great end-of-summer.
I am getting ready to spend the upcoming labor day weekend with Sheila and her family. Should be new and exciting. (Yeah, I am totally freaked out about it) |

The whole world is fried.
The wedding was nice but weird. I have not been to many pagan weddings. It was laid back. My friends liked Sheila, and she seemed to like them too. After the wedding sucked because one of my friends got too drunk and got stupid. He decided that he was a failure because he is 26 and doesnt know what he wants to do with his life and doesnt have someone special. He said I wasnt his friend anymore because I have a girlfriend. He got all upset and told people he was going to kill himself so we tried to calm him down.
Anyway, he wouldn't calm down and he kept yelling at me for being a "no good carpetbagger" whatever that means. The host at the reception place was ready to call security before a fight broke out so some people took him out and he asked to go to the hospital. He was admitted. I am lucky that most of this happened while Sheila was making friends with the other girls there.
I have been busy at work but my boss must have gotten laid this weekend because he is in a good mood for once. Maybe he will stay that way all week? It is evil hot outside and my AC is crapping out so I can't sleep. I have a wet towel on my head. I must look like an idiot.
I hope I don't seem insensitive about my friend but I don't know why he freaked out like that and I'm still in shock. |

So, I get to work early today and my boss is already there. Instead of giving me a chance to settle in, he throws a stack of work on my desk and is like "I need this five minutes ago". I've done half of it but now he is in a meeting so I'm online. You give time in case the subway is late and its early. Youre running late and so is the subway. T.G.I.F.!
Going to a friends wedding tomorrow. First time some of my friends will meet the new girlfriend. I'm looking forward to it an nervous at the same time. Hope they have a good DJ and an open bar. |
